4.6/5I'm very impressed with Back Market refurbished products. For the most part, they're reasonably priced. I was able to get a Samsung galaxy s23 for half the price of a brand new one. The phone was cosmetically and functionally in very good condition. I was very surprised. What got my attention about Back Market though is that they are B Corp Certified. 4.5/5We've shopped Backmarket for ~5 years now. Several years ago, Backmarket refurbished products were near immaculate, even when choosing the 'good' condition. Our 2023 purchase was not that; there were a couple of chips in the screen and the bezel had a gouge among other expected blemishes. Prices are higher than they were a couple years ago even though we bought another Samsung Galaxy S10. 5/5I ordered two phones, one in Good (advertised - Good Deal!) condition and one in Excellent condition. I should have trusted the Good Deal advertised phone and gotten two instead of upgrading one of them to Excellent because both phones arrived in Excellent condition. This was my first time purchasing refurbished phones. I was apprehensive, but am glad I took the plunge. I think my husband's phone (Good) holds better charge than mine, but I don't know for sure. It may be that I use mine more than he uses his. All in all, we are very happy with our purchases. We still need to visit Verizon for help with some usage issues like apps, but we are going from Samsung Galaxy S9s to Galaxy S23s, so I think it's a learning curve issue. Thanks for a great product! 5/5This is the third item I have purchased from back market. I truly don't foresee ever buying electronics brand new again. The phone came in record time, in stellar condition. You would truly never know it was refurbished. 5/5Wow. The shipping was fast - and over the holidays too! I bought a Samsung Galaxy S23 which surprised me that a phone released in Feb 2023 needed refurbishing. The condition was rated as "very good". As far as I can see, it's damn near perfect. No signs of use. Looks new to me. I'd be curious to see what an "excellent" phone would look like. It works perfectly. And the fact that I got it at Xmas but have until Jan 31 to return? Even better. I don't plan on returning since I just paid over $100 bucks to protect the phone with an Otterbox case and a Zagg glass protector. Yes, I know I could've gotten it cheaper online or at Back Market but I'm so clumsy that I was paranoid enough to run straight to the TMobile store to get a new sim card and the protective stuff. 4/5The Samsung S21 Ultra appears to be fine in the two weeks since we received it and was as promised. Ordering was easy and delivery was as expected. Our trade-in offer was much lower than we had anticipated ($25.00) for a phone in complete working order without problems. I have previously purchased certified, refurbished smartphones directly from Samsung and felt we received a much better & fairer trade-in offer. While the price of the S21 Ultra was cheaper from Back Market, I believe that I might have fared better buying from Samsung in terms of overall cost.
